I still don't get the animosity toward Deschamps (is it a political thing again) why would 14 years be too long with a manager that has gone to world cup finals, and European championships finals in that span, lol. And we are over here complaining about an England manager who only makes the semi-finals. Also, international years are different from domestic, so realistically his probably been in charge for 4 years.
It’s hard to imagine that Argentina would have beaten a France side, if they were all healthy. Pogba in the midfield and benzema up front would have most likely been too formidable. It’s why I love the World Cup. The teams that win usually need a few things to go their way.
