Any player in the world will act the same
If ! you was to win MU the league, you know your value to the fans has gone up
I see Jim now slowly turning into his idol Simon, all heβs missing is the black rimmed glasses and floppy hair.
It's a free market economy? No one limited Jordan on how much he could make in his businesses in a free market economy why is different for these working class lads. And in terms of how much they can loose every footballer has a 1 in 10, 000 chance of making it they take more risks over their futures than most businessmen and like most businessmen if they succeed they should do at the market rate. Oh hang on they're just working class kids…
Loads of players will leave if this is true . Rashford , Casemiro , Bruno , Sancho , De gea , are not going to accept that much of a reduction
Simon Jordan is so naive
Players strike essentially , that's why all the money will go to them
Like common a worker in the City's at the moment
When the real hits the fan
Then thousands of ill people overwhelming the privates system wandering the countryside
Stealing anything not protected by the Army
then the NHS will get funded
Same here
Lose 5 games, owner either looks at the club going under or he gives the money to the players
So let's say Mbappe to United is agreed with PSG but his wages is 400kpw. You're telling me Man U would say no?
The thing that people are missing is that Utd arent making huge profits anymore – they are not winning trophies consistently so therefore they shouldnt be paying ridiculous wages – funny how when utd are paying crazy fees and wages everyone moans saying they are ruining football and now when they are doing things smarter they are still moaning.
i think this is a bad move for my club. if we had proper people doing there job people wouldnt have such high salaries anyway. signing people on 40k aweek at 1 club and then get a 200k new salary at my club makes no sense
Why is this the ronaldo rule and not the Sanchez rule?
they would just increase the sign on bonus.
At the end of the day, if the unspeakably high salary expectations at united is what attracts a player to the club. That is not the player for us, they would be signing for the wrong reasons. Look at signings such as Sanchez for example. 0 passion for the club.
Simon = Top LAD Proper Clobber π― Facts
Simon & Jimbo both wearing their school uniform for work
But has Man Utd actually and officially come out with any statement of this as a fact or is a board room meeting leak
200k is still a LOT of money, for footballers it might seem low but come on….200k a week!
just make it so no player can earn 15% more than the highest paid player in the squad. So if your highest player earns 200k a week the most you can offer any new player is 230k.
I get the argument most are making against a cap – you end up losing out on certain marquee names like Mbappe, Halaand etc but, imo that's not a reason not to do it. Liverpool and Klopp have sustained a run as one of the best 5 teams in Europe for half a decade despite not being able to match the spending power of City, PSG, Chelsea, Barca, Real. You need an attractive project on the field and the right manager and recruitment team. I know you might end up losing the very best talent to Bayern, Barca and Madrid but reality is English teams will always lose non-english talent to those teams no matter what wages they pay…
Dean Ashton is the most honest pundit about !!
The salaries should be capped at Β£200,000 a year tbh. Thatβs more than enough to live on for kicking a ball around. Put some money back in the fanβs pockets as well!
Yeah good luck ! With that β¦ employment law etc.
A lot of people have missed one big point utd have had terrible time selling their players barring 1or 2 because of ridiculous wages . This rule changes that
Jim, we all know that the clubs are not going to follow so the only way they will is if the FA say that is he max Per player in the squad.. You could say the sponsorship is 100%. The players clubs are going to be moaning about that or Champions League matches or European matches. They get an extra bonus in their wages. There's loads of ways around it but the FA need to implement the salary cap
Why would Marcus Rashford stay at Man United when PSG can pay him 375k a week. lol. players retention would be hard.
The rule should be "Does the player fit the system we want to play".
If he doesn't then don't sign ,if he does money should be no object.
The governing bodys are to blame for letting salaries baloon to teh point they have. There needs to be a cap on all leagues its ridiculous atm. We'd see a much tighter competition across europe.
Mention ronaldo get views
Since his son died last year, Ronaldo is only getting hate from English media till now. He is our GOD of football!!! Please let him play in peace
So it's not called DDG rule or Alexis Sanchez rule? Why? π Media milking Ronaldo name for the views even after he left Europe and made peace with his future
