  1. He’s just proving week in week out what a twat Southgate is to bring him on in the 86th minute vs France. He should’ve started every game. He was the joint top scorer in the group stage (alongside Mbappe and Messi) despite only starting once.

  2. Marcus Rashford is playing like a man possessed…. by the spirit of Georgie Best. Where would we have been without Rashford, even in our troubled times?

  3. I don’t care who writes it or why I but I CAN NOT wait to read the player’s, coach’s, trainer’s, whoever’s, autobiography that details the root of the dysfunction last season. Sure, it’s bound to be a list of issues, but one thing I’m sure of : those players loved Ole and the guilt they carried after he was sacked must have been immeasurable

  4. The Fa Cup draw has again been favorable for us. Arsenal or City will lose out. City looked shaky and must play an extra fixture against Wolves, where they have to play Madrid in the champions league. One cup this year looks definitely possible.

  5. Yes we need a striker but when Sancho comes back we have another option upfront and give a night off to either martial or rashford or Antony and that allows for elanga and garnacho to get lots of playing time

  6. Great piece on rashford, fairly done i thought. Am worried that if a takeover doesn't happen soon will rashford stay? Will ten hag stay? The fear is we could go the way Newcastle went for a couple of years

  7. Last season it was Ronaldo, who undermined the entire team, and the utterly worthless Rangnick who is the worst manager we've ever had in my memory.

  8. I had completely written him off after last season as he wasn’t even doing the basics right. Couldn’t be more wrong. Defenders look afraid when he’s running at him and he’s the heart of our attack.

  9. So glad he proved me wrong, I would’ve taken 60/70 mill after last season. It wasn’t his talent, it was his attitude, he looked like he couldn’t be bothered. The g/a have returned with his confidence, still hoping that electric skill and directness comes next he had when younger. We never see how they are on the training pitch or know their private issues. In ten hag we trust

  10. The revolution has started at Manchester United. A new manager/ coach . With a luck the glazers out ASAP . ETH has changed the whole mentality of the club. The players want to play for him and the shirt not had this in a long long time .

  11. He hadn’t looked himself since he got that injury against Wolves in the cup a couple of seasons ago. Until this season. Now he looks like a new player.

  12. How a few months make a difference I can still remember half the fan base saying we should get rid of him after 1 bad season.. i wasn't one of them. Finally we got a manager who works with the players improving their game. Marcus is 25 but only now he has really been coached

  13. RASHFORD HAD A 2 WEEK HOLIDAY AFTER THE EUROS INSTEAD OF GOING FOR SURGERY! CRAZY! SHOULD HAVE BEEN BOOKED IN THE NEXT DAY NOT 2 WEEKS LATER

  14. TBH Rashford's 20/21 was no where near his best, despite getting 21 goals and 15 assists that season he had quite a few poor games and poor moments in games (unlike 19/20 where he was genuinely amazing and at his best at the time). He's really pulled it back in the first half of this season from his shite 21/22. I agree in 22/23 he is very similar to his 20/21 which shows he still has levels to get to, and barring another major injury, he will almost certainly get there.

  15. Everyone seemed to forget that arround 2019-21 Rashford was talked about by pundits and media on the same level as Mbappé. Clearly now Mbappé is miles better but garuteed minus his broken back, broken shoulder, and tourn ankle ligaments he suffered in 2020 to 2021 there wouldn't be that much in it.

  16. Ste, I’m curious as to how you ended up with a University of Oklahoma jumper? I lived in Oklahoma City for 13 years and their American football fan base is wild! Thank you for your insightful content.

  17. He needs to be protected. Those reports of him playing throught injury were ridiculous. Hopefully his physio, and nutrionist keep him fit and if he gets a knock he gets the time to rest and recover.

And obviously we need to bring in quality players and have our current players step up so that all the responsibility isn't all on him.

  18. Rashford was a disgrace for 18 months. Let's not forget that. He didn't give up his wages when he was playing badly, did he? But fair play to him I think in the past couple of games he's playing better than I thought he was able to play.

To me he's always been a real athletic player without much technique or football knowledge but ETH has clear improved on that with him.

  19. It's not an 'I told you so moment' but you'll know deep down whether you wrote him off or not.
I'm just glad he's back and can take pride that I always knew he would be.

  20. COME ON STE! IT'S 2022! SANTA CLAUS ISN'T REAL, AND MARCUS RASHFORD IS JUST A DECENT "YOUNG" PREMIER LEAGUE PLAYER. NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS. STOP BELIEVING THE SILLY CHILDISH UNITED PROPAGANDA.
