its crazy cuz the gk’s arms arent even extended and he lunged in the opposite direction of the ball straight into alvarez and ppl say he “stood his ground” r we watching the same video??? not to mention he came like 10 feet off his line to make the challenge when he technically didnt have to be in that position and the ball was still in play since alvarez couldve definitely got to it before lovren who was behind him cleared it. ppl complain about everything lmao, messi got a yellow card for simply talking to the ref vs ned and there was a bunch of missed calls against argentina as well

It shouldnt be a penalty cuz Alvarez already shot.They just collided and Alvarez took the chance to take this feet to fall.A collision shouldnt be a penalty.If this will be a penalty in future games…The strikers will always behave like this.Just shoot somewhere in the direction of the goal and run into the goali..There was no chance to not collide..That should not be a penalty..Neither side would want that to be a penalty…for sure..
