  1. Foden is a good player however he is not a great player , Rice carried West Ham at one time as Grealish did at villa, Phil wouldn’t shine in a team out the top 6, Jack shouldn’t have went to city , i am sure he will show Everton how great he is …

  2. Foden after a FA cup tie jokingly said on BBC the pitch was like playing on a cows field or i was 12 last time i played on a pitch like that, it was some along those lines, he was rude & disrespectful,
he is no longer a star of the future he has reached his prime maybe Wrexham would buy him …

  3. As a scotsman , fodens been poor for englamd but is it due to the position hes been deyloyed in? Great player but based on current form shouldnt be on the plane

  4. I don't get the hype around Palmer. Other than penalties, how many goals has he scored in the last 10 games he's played.. he is a top top player, but just using the same logic that's being used by gabby

  5. This might sound sensationalist but Foden is at risk of going the same way as Dele Alli with his career. 6 or 7 years ago we all thought Dele was a mainstay in the England team for the next decade. He was riding high off the back of 3-4 brilliant seasons with Spurs and he looked to have everything to succeed at the highest level. I believe the CIES Football Observatory rated Dele as the most valuable player in world football when he was around the age of 20-21. Then his form dropped off and it was "Dele needs to get back to 2018 form", then 2-3, even 4 seasons passed and people were still talking about him getting back to his best. Then before you know it, it's too late and he's fallen too far and there's no way back.

Some players' career trajectories just go that way. If Foden truly is a generational talent then he needs to bounce back soon, otherwise in the next 2-3 seasons we'll be talking of him as a wasted talent, just like Dele.

  6. Bellingham, palmer, Roger’s, eze all start over foden, hes a great player, and has unbelievable talent but recently just hasn’t been doing it, and with cherki injury this has been hes chance to stamp his place in the city starting 11 and in the England squad and he hasn’t taken the opportunity, bagged in that cup game and been a ghost ever since, I hate to see it

  7. I don't understand why Foden is given so much leverage and consideration. You can't tell me there's no player that deserves to be in the squad ahead of him based on the last 18 months.

  8. If fit Palmer has to go. Even if you bring him off the bench, he's one of only a few players in the world who can almost win a game on his own with a magic spell.
