We have one of the best starting XI in the world, but beyond that it’s pretty desperate right now.
Can’t see us selling Gnabry or Goretzka without Karl and Bischoff receiving a lot more playtime than they are first.
Turkish clubs really trying everything they can to save us from ourselves.
I’m not biggest Goretzka fan but I don’t see us selling him anymore, he will at least keep this year, and honestly (I can’t believe I’m writing this after all these years) he is a real good fit at the moment.
like Bischoff and Pavlovic excel in his weak points while at the same time he gives us a physique every other midfielder lacks.
Even more if we sell him/or even let him go at the end of the season we would kinda break that perfect balance we currently have.
I love Goretzka as a Person and his Mentality, but he doesn’t really fit our System and there are a Number of Players I’d rather have as a Back Up than him.
Plus he earns way too much Money
Simple.
If he wants guaranteed starting we should allow a transfer before it’s too late. If he stays as a super sub, he deserves a super sub salary.
I love how a random journalist that does not work for the club knows so many things like “slimmer than Sane chances” lol
