Great choice of Centre Backs, especially when his 4 out of 5 CD is comfortable with the ball and a great progressor too. The only concerns that his choice really mirrored his style of play

No Vidic , no party !
I think people don't remember how reliable Vidic was at the back. It wasn't just his beast mentality and sacrifice on the pitch, he was rock solid and never seen him made a single mistake when defending, which is not what I can say about Rio. In that UTD partnership Nemanja was the more reliable one, and it wasn't even close. Best defender Premier league has seen and probably the only one who instilled fear in opponent strikers.
