  1. Finding a place for every talented player has been englands historical problem. England should pick the best team that collectively play well together rather than just chucking them altogether hoping they find a way. Your average man could pick the most talented starting x1, Tuchel job is to create a team.

  2. what is this obsession with FODEN needing to be in the england team. his best place might be on the bench to come on and change a game rather than starting stupid media again

  3. No we don’t. We have to move on from Foden. It never worked. Perhaps in years to come he will find his place for England. But rn we have too many players who are far better for England than he’s ever been.

  4. Glad to see the comments finally fed up of the medias forced hype job with this kid. He's never been as good as they claimed, nowhere near the talent level of his peers (Saka) or even his youngers (Palmer)

  5. What's foden done to earn a start? He doesnt start over bellingham at the 10, he doesnt start over saka on the right, palmer has had more impact wherever he plays, rashford is a more threatening winger, foden is great as part of a cohesive midfield, but shoehorning him in just because will upset the midfield balance. Rice bellingham foden midfield sounds great but one of them is gonna have to be doing defensive work, which another player might be better at

  6. Same issues with past England teams… always trying to shoehorn players in the team. If other players are playing better, then he can stay on the bench, come in as a substitute, and then affect the game that way.
Football is not always won by the first 11 on the pitch, a healthy bench is very important

  7. He doesn't play well for england in tournaments, are we going to just keep playing him in tournaments anyway, we did 8 tournaments with Rooney having a bad last 7 and didn't learn

  8. we are performing well without him and now all of a sudden we need to find a place for him? hes never performed for england even in his peak so why would we force him back into the squad….

  9. Delusional English media, they have been destroying the English team for decades with their stupid rhetoric and sentiment. He is not good enough to be in the squad simple

  10. Rice and Anderson have established themselves as the pivots. There's room for one AM, so Foden is up against Bellingham, Palmer, Rogers etc. Bring him in the squad if you like, but he doesn't replace those three on form.

  11. Not everywhere in the US has heat or lightning. All 4 cities in the Western region (Vancouver, Seattle San Francisco and Los Angeles) will not be hot. Nor will Toronto or Dallas, which has a retractable roof with climate control. It seems like England is making excuses before the WC has even started.

  12. And Ian Foster's opinion has little to no weight.
    Crack on Thomas Tuchel.
Keep on doing the great job that you're doing YOUR way 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
