  1. The first England coach that isn't swayed by big names and picks the players that best suit his system. Bravo. England had far better balance with Anderson and Rice in midfield. Plus while Bellingham is very good player don't think he is any better than other midfielders. He just has bigger reputation because he played in lower quality leagues for all his career than EPL midfielders. If England start having a balanced team, rather than just picking the most famous players, England could be dangerous in the next world cup. because they have the most quality coming off the bench that can change games in a tournament format.

  2. Absolutely sensible decision. Let Jude play a full match and get back match fitness. Also England have played very well against Serbia. So there should be a continuity in the team.

  3. Foden is the real question: he melds the attack together. England can't win without him. Bellingham may not fit in. It's a team, not a bunch of individuals. And Grealish is not that good.

  4. This highlights the poor state of the Spanish FA and the ineptitude of manager De La Fuentes. Yamal, Pedri and Bernal shouldn't be going on international duty

  5. We all appreciate talent but "star" players need to be reminded they are a name on a sheet of paper. Lots of alternatives. I think ego's have been allowed to get out of control in the England set up since at least 2000.

  6. "Bellingham & Tuchel have a little bit of history" – that is ALL on Tuchel & the media. Jude hasn't done or said anything at any point in response.

  7. Does anybody remember how horrible Jude played in the Euros? Does anybody remember how bad he played the last 1,5 years at Real? He is not a playmaker, he is not a leader, he is not a striker, he is not a defender. But he is acting like he is. He tries to do everything and ends up running all over the pitch. All he is good at is perfect PR.. everybody is talking about him like he IS a superstar, while in reality he is a mediocre player.

  8. What is the media trying to do here? This is as straight forward as it gets. Bellingham is comming off of injury, regaining form and fitness. At international level, you have to be at 100%, Jude isnt rn

  9. I think it's smart as well, I also think Bellingham should have got his surgery in the summer instead of playing in the Club World Cup with Real Madrid he'd be recovered by now.
