Daren Bent is a better striker than that bum Nunez.
He is simply not good enough… epl isn’t easy for such players
These pundits acting as if Nunez had 3 good seasons at Benfica….. This guy is 23 years old that hd only 1 good season in his entire career. Last season for Nunez at Benfica was the exception in his career… missing big chances is his level. Liverpool just made a bad buy and should have spent that money in the midfield.
Saying "He gets into great positions" is the same as me saying "I turn up to work" but I don't actually do any work when I'm there…
Difference is one is paid millions to do it, and the other is put into the bracket of low class.
He will get bags full…. he is just overexcited…..
He's doing fine. When klopp bought him he said he was "raw" and needed to learn. He's scored some good goals and set a few up too. Since the world cup he's had a run of bad luck, all strikers hit a barren spell. Salah, mane,firmino and jota all had a run of games when they couldn't score. He'll get close on 20 goals this season

Werner also got into great positions, took players on and did everything but score regularly. There's a two minute clip on YouTube showing Werner's disallowed goals alone, they got into double figures! Everyone including Bent stuck the boot in as early as his first year at Chelsea. Now Bent is making excuses for Nunez's profligacy in front of goal, sounds like hypocrisy to me!
Crazy to see the excuse making for Nunes. If he played for United he'd be getting destroyed.
What's he doing wrong? Very little really. Nunez has played 2 seasons of European football, 1 piss poor, the next pretty decent and apparently that 1 good season warranted a 85 mil move to Liverpool. I suppose Bent is an expert of being an OK striker who was always better playing for smaller teams.
If any Liverpool fan is being genuinely honest what front 3 would you prefer, Mane, Firmino and Salah or Diaz Nunez and Salah?

Nothing to do with neing unlucky you can accept a player missing 1 or 2 chances but not 20 clear cut chances. I think this guy is getting a pass if he was at man utd and missing those chances the media would of slaughtered him. He cost £85 million
Thing with Darren Bent was that he was a good striker who needed 6 chances to finally score. Nunez is getting 16 sitters and missing them all.
