The word "repulsive" in German is usually a technical term, as in something that repels another thing, like the poles of a magnet turned around are 'repulsive'. What he really means is that Bellingham 'repels' people – he's in their face, antagonsitic, aggressive. He's not cuddly and warm.
Tuchel doesn't mean that he's 'revolting' or 'disgusting'.
Imagine how social media would have melted down if Roy Keane was playing now. The best midfielders have an edge and drive their teammates on.
Jude is a young lad, still qualifies for the U21s. Already a leader, he'll mature and learn to control that edge.
The English media treatment of Bellingham is an example of why Mario Balotteli wrote the Iconic shirt "Why always me?" Which the media have never asked what did he mean by that.
It's very clear that for a certain demographic that they can't handle seeing non-subservient African diaspora player. You apply those characteristics to a white player like Terry, Keane ,Souness Gerrard, and the media would be screaming for them to be the captain of the team.
They moan that these players are missing from the game and you have this 21 year old lad who had done extraordinary achievements away from the English environment and now he is in that space they want to take him down a level because it makes them feel more comfortable.
