Once upon a time, Chelsea had a striker named Diego Costa, an elite forward who helped the club secure three trophies during his tenure. Though clinical and prolific, his boisterous side led many to view him as a dirty player whose antics often overshadowed his talent. He was infamous for provoking opponents with sly fouls, verbal jabs, and exaggerated falls. Critics argued his aggression went beyond tactical gamesmanship, veering into unsportsmanlike conduct, making him a liability at times.
But he also seems misunderstood, as his technical ability and footballing IQ were often underappreciated amid the drama. Fans and pundits who focus solely on his aggression miss the nuance of a striker who was remarkably deft in front of goal. Feel free to share your thoughts on Diego Costa in the comments

  1. People fear what they can not control and with Diego, you can not control him. He is a character when on ir team you feel secured and have nightmares if you're the opponent

  2. I will never forget and forgive to Conte he kicked the best striker of the PL out. Why? Because he has his specific personality? But he was a miracle. But the karma has already been with us from 2017. We were nowhere close winning the PL

  3. Misunderstood?
The guy was a complete nutcase!
He put the fear of God into Defenders, but not sure if that was due to his passion, or they just thought he was psycho.

  4. Anelka dorgba torres and diego coasta who in my birth till date i know gave everything and with love and prayers for new team I have faith lets keep the blue flag flying high and rhe blessed divine spirit presence of heavens brothers out to conquer once again, all the best to the young lads and lastly i appreciate your effort and love to put effort to bring this to life, in in the mighty name of lord Jesus Christ amen

  5. But regardless with respect each blue not mentioned and mentioned strikers have contributed and we as blues chelsea football club brothers and sisters appreciate and respect hallelujah amen peace πŸ•ŠοΈ Alhamdulillah jah is one rasta

  6. 12-13 fernando torres scored 22 goals over that season only problem just 8 of them came in the PL …SamΓΊel etoo 21 games 9 goals 30+ games he would have gotten 15goals

  7. We never had a Diego Costa replacement, the last time Chelsea won the league, Diego scoring all the goals (20 goals a season striker).

Morata, Abraham, Giroud, Jackson are all decent strikers, with Giroud scoring important goals in Europe, but league wise, we never had a monster like we had previously with Diego. 20 goals, but mostly game winning goals, not constant statpadding. He is a monster man, him and Drogba, I put them top 2 in EPL.

  8. Conte was a good coach but letting go Costa and Mikel and so many players was a huge mistakes he made
After the departure of Costa Chelsea lack goals from the striker
