Alan Nixon for Sun Online is a routinely reliable journalist, which these days sadly marks him out from the crowd of kids with press passes and one ear super-glued to a club’s press officer.
Joe Rodon is on Graham Potter’s want list, which would make an uncomfortable suggestion given that the Brighton gaffer was so heavily and so repeatedly linked with the now filled Tottenham hot seat.
Nixon believes that Manchester United’s winger Dan James is also a target, as both men could be potentially eclipsed by incoming transfers at their respective sides. Takehiro Tomiyasu could well push Rodon down the batting order at Tottenham, and Jadon Sancho’s arrival at Old Trafford might well do the same for James.
I take a view that the first Spurs defender out the door at Spurs ought to be Eric Dier, however, it is troubling to imagine who in their right mind would want him. Discarded by England well ahead of the Euros and now well past his prime…

i hope chrissy powell gets to share his england experience at hotspur way . Didnt hear his name mentioned in the coach set up .
Great to see him involved last night . superb chris
after the choices mason made with joe and tangy being overlooked for dier and winks he should be getting himself upto hull for a coaching job .
Love the content mate 👍
just think if levy had found that extra 2 mill for grealish instead of his disaster shirt , merch selling punt on bales wages .🤔
We desperately need to sell in order to buy, with that in mind, I'm surprised Nuno took the job – but glad he did at the same time. Personally, I would look to sell; Sissoko, Winks, Sanchez, Dier, Lamela, Lucas …. Toby and Serge want out too, so, we might as well have a good old clean out. This Japanese guy looks promising but, whoever we buy, they need to have the right mentality.
Nice thumbnail.
Ex pat here living in Denmark, the Danes are looking forward to the game, it will be a tough game. Keep it Tottenham
Thankyou as always great stuff .
The problem is that everyone knows that the players we need to move out will be overpriced by Levy, which means we'll be stuck with them.
Carragher the big man who spat at a young woman enough said
Nice content mate, but it’s “ado” not “adieu.”
Agree that we need to sell, but who wants our cast offs? Will the buying clubs be prepared to match their wages at Tottenham?
● SUNDAY SERVICE TO BECOME WEEKLY WE HOPE ●
○ When Sterling decides to actually pass to Harry Kane..
○ Guess what ??
○ He nearly scores a hatrick & is now a tiny step away from beings England's No1 tournament goal scorer..
○ Where are the Kane is leggy Kane is tired, Kane needs to kick on J.C 23 negative commentators..
Keep them coming H A R R Y
Why would Rodon be a target for Brighton, even if they sold White?
They have have better CBs than Spurs as it is. Namely Dunk, and Webster, who would both be immediate starters for us.
The retro title page is top dollar. 👌
No doubt we need to shift much of this crew. I counted 12 are worth considering for the heave ho. Dier top of the list. Rodon definitely hold on to. Keep your common sense analysis coming. Maybe someone at Hotspur way will listen. COYS
Grealish will obviously start the semi and the final, I am confident in this assumption, he was not risked in the last game for this very reason
Jamie Carragher is totally wrong about Harry Kane. I'm all for people having their own opinions – that's what makes the world go round, but Harry Kane, as well as any other top striker, needs service in order to thrive.
Thanks for your sermon vicar
Carragher will now switch back to the Kane must go Walnut…………
Jesse Lingard (shoved to one side by Man U) kept himself game fit so when he went to West Ham he hit the ground running. How is it that Dele Alli could not do the same when he was not playing regularly for Spurs? Surely he must consider himself at least as good as JLingz? The question had to be asked.
On Wed evening, it will be a good contest with Højbjerg mixing it up with Philips & Rice, all great players. I would love to see Philips in a Spurs shirt, but I imagine his price tag has been blown out of the water now, as with Grealish.
Here! Here! 💪🤍
Problem with Grealish is he plays on the same side as Sterling so it's tricky to get them in the same side.
Love your daily updates keep them coming but who put the photo up on the wall? It’s on
