The problem with this award is the quality of all European leagues. So we have to look at it on all levels( international level, club level, euopean cups, etc). The quality of some leagues are worse than others.
If I had to make a world 11 today or based on last season Dembele does not feature and so goes for everyone's top 11, he was a good players in a good team nothing more, awarding him best player in the world is a joke
