Schlotti I missed you so much, just look how much better he made Anton and the entire back line. Cutting passes, good tackling and high game IQ. What a delight.

I’ll say this again. We would have cried if we had let Adeyemi go in winter.
I know I jinxed it last time I said it but our D looks way more stable and less nervous/fragile.
Hard fight win and exactly what we need if we want a comfortable top 4 finish if not more

Schlotterbeck is top 5 CB in the world, arguably top 3. Pure class
defensively this was very good from us today.
Can’t complain in general except maybe that our many many crosses really never sparked any danger.
Win is a win. Don’t love the cross spam but mature performance
I didn’t think we looked convincing enough in attack, we definitely have the personnel to score more and kill the game against Wolfsburg.
On a positive note at least we closed out the game and didn’t let Wolfsburg have too much.
good performance tbh. the spark was missing in these last passes but all in all a good game. Good defending by wolfsburg aswell but we didn‘t give them any chance apart from that freekick.
Glad too see they learned from their mistakes by keeping it in the corner and Bense immediately shooting it away.
Still got as close as that one ball was to going in.
Important to still be undefeated and have our only point loses be completely unneeded instead of deserved.
Next break could hurt our momentum but going to Munich undefeated would give us a good shot.

Not that it was necessarily a bad performance but some rest as well as some new reinforcements (Anselmino and hopefully Silva) is clearly needed right now.
Still, 3 clean sheets in the opening 4 games is a nice change of pace and may we enjoy a long period of Schlotterbeck health.

I don’t care to talk about silverware or anything right now. This team looks good. The play is fun, the spirits seem high, we’re attacking and getting back on defense. This is a team that can do well and be what it needs to be. Immer echte Liebe
Dominant game with a couple of scares. Really need to finish on the final pass and shots. I thought we would have at least 3 goals against Wolfsburg but we have to make it harder on ourselves.
All hail schlotti and we will get only better as our injuries start to integrate back into the team

Solid game, a bit frustrating we couldn’t convert our domination into more goals, but I’ll take a 1 goal win over a 3 or 4 goals draw any day.
Schlotti I missed you so much. MOTM Adeyemi for me, besides his goal he had a very strong showing.

Ryerson should definetly start over Couto in most games, especially now that Schlotti is back.

Adeyemi proving me wrong this season? I really hope so. Looks confident and his shooting has become much more clinical.
Beier had good off the ball moments once again but lets himself down when gets it. Too often can’t beat his man or holds the ball too long.
Sabitzer really needs to work on his crossing if he’s gonna whip in so many… At least he’s a workhorse. Carney, on the other hand needs some major work on his fitness, basically did nothing when he came on.

sabitzer is finally back
On the RN podcast a few weeks back they said how often times Dortmund fans historically prefer the team play electric football that results in a 4:4 instead of conservative defensive style that results in a 1:0 win. Funny how both results happened in the same week
First half was one of the seasons best. We looked electric for a while. Extend Schlotti, no questions asked.
I thought Chuckwumeka did ok, but his first few minutes on were a bit disappointing. He was brought on for fresh creativity and he brings a threat centrally with his ability to beat a man in tight spaces. But he was not demanding enough of the ball or making himself available enough at first. I’d like to see him get a start soon to see how he grows into a game with more time.
Also shocked the Jobe is still getting such limited time. But it’s hard to argue today when Sabitzer was tireless in his performance.
Just want to say that I love Ryerson screaming with passion all the way to the end. He plays with so much intensity all the time and I love have someone on the pitch with that mentality.
