Lucas Paqueta could sue the Football Association following the conclusion of his betting case, Sky Sports News understands.
The FA charged the West Ham and Brazil midfielder with spot-fixing but he was cleared in July of misconduct.
The full written reasons from an independent commission were published earlier on Wednesday and the FA confirmed it will not be appealing.
It is understood Paqueta is now considering suing the FA and is consulting his legal team over potential proceedings.
But West Ham will not be suing the FA for damages after Paqueta’s £80m transfer to Manchester City collapsed following the start of the investigation in August 2023.

He could have came to city!! Do what u gotta do Lucas!
The FA is just like the BBC
Everyone is comfortable in there safe unsackable jobs
fan groups don't write letters .. boycott games
your money talks
FIFA & the various regional & national associations are among the most corrupt establishments in the whole world.
This is exactly why FIFA doesn't want "government interference" in national associations, while demanding tax-free repatriation of all income from their various tournaments.
He has to do it. Sue them. They do the worst job of most governing bodies of course West Ham are gonna say they do a great job.
West Ham United sacked David Moyes because they and the fans believed their football on the pitch wasn’t exiting enough to watch after winning 🏆 there European trophy, and now look at where they are under their new manager/head coach.
The saying ‘be careful what you wish for’ comes to mind, and now fan groups are venting their anger at the Board members. 😂😂
Nothing will happen. The FA are like the police, government and the BBC. They are protected and the only ones who will suffer from this are normal people who have been hard done by them like Paqueta
His friends in Brazil are already betting he will sue.
Yes my boy,go ahead and sue their ass.
He has to do it. Sue them. They do the worst job of most governing bodies of course West Ham are gonna say they do a great job 😒😒😓😓
