Chris Ped Baz 😂😂😂
If he was going to make that move, you'd think he'd have to do it real soon. I agree with the winter loan move being a good idea. Maybe even start in the Championship?
With him being a "big fella" I could see someone like a David Moyes liking him. Moyes always liked a strong striker (Yakubu, Anichebe, Jonathas at RSC). Im not sure if he's prem quality yet but could give the championship a crack. We don't want Larin being a other Yedlin
Good show
Great video once again! Ped, here are a few quick points on the Orlando Stadium situation:
– The average attendance in Orlando from last year if you remove the first and last games was closer to 28K so going down to 25.5K isn't as big of a decrease
– They will likely play some big games in the Citrus Bowl going forward. It's would be insane to pass up 60K fans for an opener if they can keep that going.
– The city owns the Citrus Bowls (sorry called Camping World Stadium now) and the team rents it for games. The team will own their new soccer stadium so that's an improved revenue situation for the team and hopefully allow them to continue to put a quality product on the field.
– Grass > Turf (especially our turf…it's not good)
– The stadium atmosphere is going to be amazing in the new stadium. The Citrus Bowl is so big that it can actually be a bit quiet at times even with 30K fans and "The Wall" supporters rocking. The new stadium with the roofs hanging over and the safe standing supporters section (5K standing "seats") is going to be something truly special.
I get that it doesn't make sense at the high level; but for the long term it's going to be huge for the club, the community and the experience.
I terms of Larin, I think he's a high quality goal scorer already; but I think he needs to continue to improve on his passing and awareness (looking up) to make it in a top league. Strikers at that level have to do more than just score goals; though he's got all the tools and can certainly score which makes him special for sure.
I agree with Ped. He needs to go on loan in the winter. I think he can already do the business for a team in the Championship or a lower league. If he wants to move to the Prem, he needs to test it out on a loan first. He is too young to make the full transfer.
I agree with Ped about Jozy he's not that good, but unfortunately, he's only striker that can hold the ball up well. Also, that friendly against Puerto Rico was our B team, and our B team did not play well at all….Jurgen and us fans still have no idea who our best CB pairing is.
Thank you Ped!!! Jozy is an absolute fraud and has held back the national team for years.
One thing Is though I don't think Larin would meet the requirements to play in the EPL. Canada isn't high enough in the rankings to allow Larin to get a work permit. Don't know if he'd get exempt either.
PED IS SO RIGHT!!! JOZY IS SUCH A FRAUD!!!!! Im a Toronto supporter and ive watched him week in week out for the past 1 and a half seasons, he brings almost nothing to the table he doesn't score enough goals, hes being paid way to much and he just isnt a good striker. If we had a better target man to pair up with Seba, one that could actually open up space for him, we could get top 2 in the conference easily and be one of the top contenders for MLS cup. JOZY JUST RETIRE M8!!!!!
A couple of things. 1: yes, Ciman is on Belgium's Euros squad (although he is not expected to start).
2nd: Jozy is in no way a fraud. He is on track to tie or beat Donovan's scoring record with the Nats, and since he got hurt, Toronto's offense has absolutely dried up. Sure, he hasn't scored yet which is disappointing, but his hold up play is incredible, and he is one of the best passing forwards in MLS. Since he got hurt Toronto haven't been able to make anything happen on offense, that isn't a coincidence. The only fraudulent part about Jozy Altidore is his hamstrings, he is a great player that is unfortunately getting devastated by injury. And don't talk to me about Sunderland, plenty of good players have been bad for shit teams and have gone on to be just fine somewhere else. What about his time at AZ? People conveniently forget about that
First time watching this , love it!
Don't call it "The MLS"! Haha, loved that part
The size of the stadium is limited by the land they were able to purchase it would have been bigger but a church refused to sell the club the land.
This seems like a good channel. Finally people outside of North America care about MLS. ¡Vamos United!
As a USMNT fan I can confirm that Altidore sucks he only scores when it is gifted to him
Larin sucks
with regards to the stadium, they designed the stadium before attendance numbers were in. no one could have predicted how big attendance numbers would have been. we love our new stadium though! it's awesome!
I am a Besiktas JK fan, and we proudly have the great Atiba Hutchinson playing for our side. He recently suggested Cyle to the chairman and we are following him seriously. News reports say that Everton is after him as well but, our current manager Senol Gunes (made Turkey 3rd in Fifa Worl Cup) is one of the best mentors (especially for strikers) in todays football. Even when managing smaller budget teams, his teams provide the leagues top goalscorers. The Turkish Legend Burak Yılmaz was sacked from both Besiktas and Fenerbahce before got taught by him, and occasionally became top goal scorer in a row. Brazilian big guy Fernandao was the 1st in goal scoring when Gunes was managing Bursaspor. Mario Gomez was in total collapse in Fiorentina (thats why we could loan him for free) and with Gunes he became top goal scorer, made us champions, returned back to The German National Team again.. And after Gomez, our local striker Cenk tosun, is this seasons top goal scorer of the league and shining brightly, attracting the attention of many European giants.. I think Beşiktaş JK will be a great stepping stone for Cyle LArin s excellent future in professional football.. Playing in UEFA Champions League directly next season, he ll enter into the radar of top European teams as well.
In Orlando he plays with Brazilian football god Kaka, here we have Quaresma, Talisca and Ryan Babel to create him more chances than he needs to score and improve, with the incredible support of 40000 fans in Vodafone Arena!
