Mathew David “Mat” Ryan (born 8 April 1992) is an Australian international association football goalkeeper who plays for Club Brugge in the Belgian Pro League.

Ryan was born in Plumpton, New South Wales and played youth football with Blacktown City and Central Coast Mariners before making his senior debut with Blacktown City. After moving to Central Coast Mariners in 2010, Ryan moved to Club Brugge in 2013.

Ryan has made 15 appearances for the Australian national team, including at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Good luck in Valencia! You guys just signed the best goallie in the world. His biggest weapon isn't his incredible saves though like the video shows. His passing and accurate kicks are a huge weapon in counters with a fast attacker.
