He's exactly what you want in a center back – big, powerful, strong in the air, radiates physical presence. He's good with the ball, passes well – and although he doesn't look particularly quick, it's rare to see him beaten to 50/50 balls or off the dribble. To me, the latter tells me that he plays intelligently and has great awareness of his surroundings…
