Spurs spent the same amount as Arsenal since Arteta has been in charge. The real problem is poor signings with no direction. More blame should be made towards paratici and conte.
For them to be challenging for silverware, they have to attract players in the bracket of big clubs because clubs like City, Chelsea, Liverpool or even Arsenal and United can spend loads of money on players. Until they can do that, i think they’ll just have to contend with top 5/6 because currently thats where their level is at.
