Hi Luke, Asensio is on £240k per week so you would be lucky if he accepted £150k per week the thing with Rabiot is essentially his mom is his agent and wants again big wages £150/200k per week and a final big pay day. These are players we as a club want as short term fixes but wages we cant afford and personally i think the profile of player has gone out the window we need players who are 24 or below who will demand no more than £70/80k per week max and have the potential if we are going to address the issues long term. Loans are the only way to go if you are paying big wages not permenant transfers but i want youngsters with ability and a higher ceiling so we are not rinse repeating the same issues year in year out UTV 💜💙💜💙
If we get rid of Buendia we are no better off, we have to get a better replacement and I don't think we will better him for the price we sell. Way things are going I don't see anyone else coming in unless top players leave and that really doesn't help us, especially as we need a bigger bench but we don't' want worse players than what we already have coming in, I think his only option is to try and hold on to what we have and battle through the season. These are bad times for us.
