You know the way you talk if Busquets was still so good we would of won trophies in the past few seasons and we have not, so it's time to move on from all the older players. Yes Busquets is still good but the fear to replace him is ridiculous.

These are the reasons why this team is suffering. We are relying too much on BUSI, and we don't have a replacement for him yet, and we're still thinking of selling de jong a promising replacement. When Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol and Messi and other likes left it took us a lot of time to get a sound replacement as they are, and we're still suffering from that up until now. Am confused as to what's going on with this club.

Given the financial situation, this could be a good window to bet on younger players who aren’t as proven (plus some free agents) and only 1 bigger fee signing (Lewa).

Let Dembele leave. Abde is our man!! Was brilliant when given a chance. We need to support him and help him grow confidence. Once he gets a string of matches together he could be the answer to our problems in the winds.
The biggest issues I see are that the team has too many good players for similar positions. De Jong wants to play where both Gavi and Pedri play rather than DM which he was bought to play. While he is good he isn't Spanish or Catalan and as such he will be sold before any one who is. All seem to forget that Laporta is pro Catalan and will favour nationals over foreigners in their analysis. Nico while being good has to develop physically to play the role and mentally to play with equanimity. Regardless, the attack will sort itself out with the emerging players but the team defence is in a mess and needs to be upgraded. Lewandowski will be an asset toward the development of Fati as many in the past helped Barcelona's attackers develop. Torre will in time move into the middle allowing Gavi to establish himself in the forward line with only the right wing being an issue unless Ferran begins to play with more consistency. As regards the defence I am scared that we have not heard much about targets for the three positions that are of concern and that need to be filled by the end of the upcoming season.
Barca doesn't necessarily need to replace busi, we just need to change the style of play a bit
