I think it is ridiculous when people use the fact a leg was not broken or eye pulled out to say nothing serious happened. Dangerous play is dangerous and should not be allowed and so should be penalised. The goalie could have been very seriously injured and the other player is luck he did not seriously harm him. Criticising the goalie for not letting the player get away with the dangerous act is ridiculous. The fact a player is affected by a dangerous act during his attempt to play and so more focused on not being injured by the dangerous act puts the player committing the act at at an advantage that is not fair and should not be encouraged and so it is important to penalise the player to stop players thinking this is acceptable or an acceptable way to get an unfair advantage.
