If i was to pick between Ramsey or Asensio, im taking Asensio all day long. No brainer, as much as id miss JJ it doesnt seem to be happy with the contract hes been offered.
Asensio behind Watkins, with Rodgers on the left and Malen on the right. And Buendia, Guessand, Bailey and Jimoh as backups. I like it. And if we manage to keep Ramsey that's great, cause I rather see Bailey go. But I'm all in for that
Not a fan, he was great when he was scoring and nearly invisible when he wasn't. Which is not good enough if you play as a 10. Wages also a concern, especially with SCR

Clubs like Villa run generally bad business models. Desperate to break into the top money making club bracket. Buying/ loaning these money grabbing players on massive wages and not winning trophies or generating much money will harm the club in the long run. Villa need to be more shrewd in their contract discussions instead of upping their prices for the loyal fanbase.
I think I like it too Luke. It's hard not to say with a smile. It looks pretty damn good. I was a bit concerned about not getting the production from Asensio without Rashford, but Guessand playing on the wing will find Asensio open over the middle.
Get him on board permanently please and thank you 😅 can’t lie though I’d be really gutted if Ramsey leaves, it’s always good to have one of our own in and around the team. His class is evident and I think if we sell him well that will be a huge kick in the balls for real Villa through and throughs. Proven midfielder in the PL with boat loads of cup experience. I don’t think you can replace that.

I'd definitely take Asensio back, not on crazy wages though.
Sensible if we can get him. We need a strong squad to compete at all levels and rotate and rest players.
It makes our bench formidable to other teams.

Harvey Barnes would be a good addition. Especially if he's a replacement for Ramsey.
