These type of players, normally struggle for consistency. Make poor decisions & execute certain skillsets poorly, during games. ( a pass, a shot with accuracy, poor cross, can't finish goalscoring opportunities, hold onto the ball tooo long & don't play in better placed players ).You watch all the players I've listed. They'll mess up on the above skillsets i listed during matches.
Messi & MbappƩ execute the varied skillsets with powerful accuracy & efficiency. As they showed at the 2022 World Cup Final.
And that's why they're the two best players in the modern game.
Consistent accuracy & efficency, will always trump flashy ball playing merchant's.

I disagree. We have just gone through seasons of Pogba being judged from the price tag and for what JG costs, he does nowhere near enough but escapes that level of criticism. Also, you can say KBD is not your kind of player but to say he's crap is scandalous.

Even without g/a Jack grealish is an underwhelming footballer. Cant dribble shoot or even pass very well for an atacking player. He slows the game down by constantly looking for fowls and running away from defenders. A very painful watch for city fans

He's a decent player when he's on a mediocre team like Villa that can play this methodical, pragmatic footbal through him, but on a team with other playmakers running the show he's pretty useless because he doesn't offer much in terms of direct pace or scoring, so you rather play Foden or Alvarez in that case.
