Dan you got to remember most of Sterlings time at Arsenal was as cover for Saka, for me his better playing off the LW, a position we've struggled with over the years until we brought in Summerville, pretty stuck with playing 1 or 2 up top without having Summerville or somebody who can play off the LW.

Your absolutely right "R Sterling" would be a huge waste of money 💰 There is massive doubt about whether Sterling would be willing to concede his wages to remain in the Premier League. If not, his transfer could cost the Hammers up to £70.7m in transfer fees and wages, assuming he signs a three-year deal. That's £325:000 per week he's paid now, double what our most expensive player is on right now. Hopefully, Sterling gets a knock back because we can't afford him & he's not worth it. He'll even other managers have sidelined him, including Southgate, I just don't understand why we're even contemplating the thought of having him when no one else is interested 🤔 let's hope he goes off to Saudi Arabia asap let them deal with him.

When Arsenal had sterling they paid 30% of his wages about 90K. Chelsea paid just over 200k of his wages.
