Top 5 worst deals in our clubs history. Great player, love the guy, but brought in at the wrong time.
Godspeed to him. Glad he got a trophy.

Lol. The weakest sporting management team we have had since I can remember.
How can you buy a player the already sacked manager wanted for 50mil+ while being 29 years old. He didn’t fit since day one, then instead of cutting your losses and selling, you think about a loan (for a 30 year old, demolishing his resale value further). Okay but you would think at least they would have made a deal to get some money in return, well think again, no obligation to buy.
Well then, let’s inhale a little more copium and hope that he is going to kill it in the prem this year and they will be begging us next year for a 31 year old to get hik off our hands for a large fee and recoup (what are the chances of that even?). Welk cope with this, give Tottenham an option to buy, that cuts any kind of handling leverage in the future without getting even a single commitment back that the player will be bought. Because that worked wonders for our negotiations position when they came for Tel and reduced more than 10 mil from the option they had secured. In that loan at least there was a 10 mil loan fee. Here we get nothing, absolutely nothing, apart from saving his very much average wages in the team structure.
True suckers in every single direction, they are so bad, they make me miss Brazzo, at least that man had some spice to him when he made dumb decisions.

If really the full salary is covered by Tottenham it’s an okayish deal for us. I read somewhere today they were only paying around 6 Mill from it.

Option to buy? So in a year we’ll most likely have a player on your payroll that we neither need nor can sell for €30m.

Loan without obligation, what a bad deal. Only makes sense if we act and have a transfer for depth in midfield.

Wtf is that deal. Worst case you get back an injured or out of form player and get even less. English clubs throw money at everyone who can kick a ball straight and we are not able to secure a fix deal? Pathetic

Option to buy is just cosmetic.
For 30 mio they will buy him at the end at least
