When Saka and Palmer start doing Mo Salah numbers and perform week in week out year in year out at the highest level in the league and Europe then il start properly rating these man. Until then they are just very very good young players.Come chat to me after 5 years.
Be honest if they swapped teams (Palmer on Arsenal and Saka on Chelsea) who’s team would be better. Personally I don’t think saka could do what Palmer does for Chelsea but Palmer could do what saka does for arsenal. Both players are class tho just my opinion
I think it's close but Palmer edges it for what he's done in the past 2 seasons + what he did in the Euro & FIFA CWC finals (club + country). He'll be clear when he does it in the UCL consistently.
On their day, any top player can be better than Saka for a period, but in terms of longevity & consistency, min. 7/10 every game & producing impact moments, no-one under 25 is close. When someone has a purple patch or a good season, they compare him to Saka. That says it all.
