Underrated by who? He's been lauded for the last decade. Even at Dortmund he was linked to every top club until his back injury stalled his career.
City fans have been crying about this since ages. Not only Gundo but Walker deserves more credit.

grealish plays to draw teams out of position, i think youre right goals will come i can see him getting 10-15 goals for the season in all comps.
that is because media like to talk about the special abnormal ones,standouts, wrong behaviour on off pitch and media attention whores or englishman. Man city have lot of non-englishman worldclassplayers just doing their job as asked of them. It's not flashy, no drama, no media attentioners, kinda boring, flat. So they stay under the radar of media. Become underrated by it untill media stand still and have real look at them. In man city that is so for gundogan,mahrez,bernado silva,rodrigo….
Gundogan is a terrific player. Anyone who knows football properly knows he's right up there with the very best. I saw him at the lane back in 2016 playing for Dortmund and he absolutely tore spurs a new one.
Ilkay is honestly not talked about enough.
