And why is there no information as to if this is a permanent move or just a loan opportunity wtf. I think its genuinely safe to say that the fear of becoming complacent after our CL qualification is true, I just don’t see the vision rn and it’s sad

Was he good? Don’t really follow the youth team and I know the transition to the highest level is hard, few of them actually make it. But if he was even remotely a prospect, giving it away when we need a backup CB would be so stupid…
He’s clearly not ready, or he’d be the young CB we’re eyeing. He didn’t even come with the squad to the CWC. They’re envisioning him as a permanent part of their senior squad next season, not this year.
And when we do bring in another young CB, his progress is gonna be blocked anyway.

The step to the first team was too big in Dortmund, and many talented players are now moving on because BVB’s second team no longer plays in the third division.
I don’t see the “talent” in this young talent. Meiser was average for a good while then completely stalled in terms of development. Sounds like another Moukoko who took his physical advantage to the moon but then stalled once he got to more serious levels. I would be amazed if he even makes the Gladbach squad, but I wish him the best of luck nonetheless.
