I would rather have la fabrica graduates to fill the role. I mean Lucas Vallejo, Jacobo Ramon and others are doing well in that role. Asencio has been on a decline since the case against him was brought up but I think once the case is settled he could go back to being good again. I would rather spend on MF to replace Modric, Mastantuono is good but lacking maturity same with Arda.
