I have a feeling there is a complex Web of potential deals going on that depend on others coming off.. There is too little action for it to be as simple as that.

Making public their transfer targets is not the way Villa operate, players are signed etc before any of us find out who it is, so I take all this transfer news with a pinch of salt tbh.
The problem I see at the moment, is villa ideally need to move 2-3 players on to keep the wages down so at most right now, I can only see maybe one new player coming in until close to the end of the transfer window, then we might see a couple more last minute deals, because they will want to keep wages down, especially after recent events regarding UEFA fine, due to what I believe was down to wage cost, but I might stand to be corrected in the future 😉 😄
