  1. In these clips it was obvious that the real Madrid team we're using zonal marking and sitting deep and narrow. They pressed from their defensive block well and limited time and space on the ball around their 18. What was needed was a striker playing with his back to goal and making plays with quick one-twos to Carrasco or any other midfielder high up looking for space around the area. A single one two from the central midfielder to Carrasco and he wasn't ready for it limited athletico to shots from outside the box and woeful crosses. Carrasco looked a bit like Ozil in this match, talented but lacked the players around him to allow him to be at his best. In these highlights of the game he looked unconvincing. Every player has these games, but I am sure we have at least two young u23 players who would be the same level against an opposition as tough as Real Madrid… The question is can they handle a season (without incurring the arsenal curse of a season ending injury as soon as you hit top form)? I think they have more heart so getting a good wide attacker is good, but we need someone who is effective rather than attractive. So our young talent can learn more from this new addition instead of compete with another big name that doesn't really spell game changer. Who watched the second half and didn't think Iwobi might have been better in this match out on the left?

  2. Siempre lo veía para el Barcelona, pero bueno, tiene muchas skills pero también algo problemático no? Para mi un muy buen jugador que merece más
