  1. Listening to this, it feels like Wingers like Sancho and Antony being more similar to Wide Midfielders like Giggs and Figo from back in the day, staying wide and more creative rather than their chronological predecessors like Salah and Bale who were basically goalscorers who'd drift in. This is turning the fullbacks staying somewhat deeper (not as much as they did in Giggs and Figo's era) than present day attacking fullbacks like Hakimi and Trent and would focus more on carrying the ball or their vision to pass it rather than their crossing ability. Then requiring somewhat more defensive contribution than what is currently expected of the two aforementioned fullbacks.
Think this will suit someone like Reece James perfectly.

  2. Great content mate – would love to see both those fullbacks at Utd, more Brazilians! I hope you're getting this content onto Tik Tok to get the big views

  3. Tbh, I think in the next few years we would see more DM/CM moved into fullback role just because their passing and technical attribute fulfill the iwb position. Even in Trent cases he was previously a central midfielder

  4. Though Dalot has improved, I think his crossing still needs work. Plus he and Antony have to link up well to make right wing effective as Antony has got both pace and dribbling skills.

  5. I still think dalot is shit, he loses the ball so much with runs that are going nowhere and poorly executed passes, he can’t defend well but he makes a couple tackles and goes mental so everyone is blinded by the ‘passion’

  6. It shows Ole was unwilling to play Dalot but willing to stick with Wan-Bissaka who is not the player we signed. I knew from day 1 Dalot will be a good player. He just needs to improve on his defensive awareness then we have a gem of a player.

  7. Alvaro Fernandez looks like a similar style of player like Theo Hernandez. Should be back up to Malacia next season! (Although I'd love Theo at United!)

  8. yeah dalot and malacia is good for now we dont have money to spend at the moment we need midfielder striker and maybe then we can buy one of them for now we should focus on getting midfielder that is needed at the moment and also a striker and then we can look to strengthen the squad even further. Thats my opinion of everything heard and know at the moment

  9. I believe the concept of a modern fullback who can go forward, and attack along with playing as a winger or a midfielder at a time isn’t fairly new when you see players Denis Irwin or Ashley Cole or Roberto Carlos, Carlos was more menace on the left side that Figo at times, with his shot power and crossing. Marcelo & Dani Alves are the most complete full-back in the modern-day games. Alex Telles showed some of that Brazilian magic but lacked in a defensive role, similar to what Jesus Navas and Ashley Young saw at times.

  10. Privilege to play for the famous Manchester United once-in-a-lifetime treble winners and in footsteps of players like Roger Byrne, Duncan Edwards, Nobby Stiles, Harry Gregg, Bill Foulkes, Denis Violett, Paddy Crerand, Alex Stepney, Best, Law, Charlton, Greenhoff, Buchan, Gordon Hill, Coppull, Pearson, Macari, McIlroy, Gary Bailey, Stapleton, Whiteside, Strachan, McClaire, Kanchelskis, Hughes, Irwin, Ince, Bruce, Pallister, Schmeichel, Robson, Cantona, Keane, Carrick, Butt, Edwin vSar, Evra, Vidic, Stam, Ferdinand, Neville's, Raphael's, Ji-Sung-Park, Valencia, Beckham, Giggs, Scholes, Javier Hernandez, vNistelrooy, Yorke, Cole, Sheringham and-Solskjaer-has-won-it, vPersie, Rooney, Ronaldo, DeGea.
