  1. Great move for Giroud back to Lille, if he can have a good year there it gives him a slight chance of making the World Cup squad for France, I think it would've been totally impossible continuing with LA

  2. The Giroud experiment was doomed the moment Griezmann didn't happen Giroud's always needs that guy playing just behind him, his whole career has been about partnerships (Montpellier- Younes Belhanda, Arsenal- Aaron Ramsey, Chelsea- Christian Pulisic and later Mason Mount, AC Milan – his old buddy Pulisic again, LAFC never had that guy, Giroud's best partner ever was Antoine Griezmann, they had brilliant chemistry together, once we found out that Griezmann wasn't coming it made the Giroud signing pointless, that's why it didn't really take off

  3. Oh, I see. So he didn't produce in MLS because it wasn't enough of a challenge. Too easy! Wow, what a fascinating window into the mind of an elite talent.

  4. Just because it's a retirement league doesn't mean you can slack off. Plenty of retirees have come to the MLS and done well, while plenty of others have failed because they weren't willing to put in the effort demanded of the game by their older bodies.

  5. Well, he always looked out of place in lafc, his face always kinda looked to me like it was saying "what the heck am i doing here" lol

  6. Fuck all these dudes and their "challenge". He thought the MLS was going to be easier and it wasn't! It's that simple! Plus there's nothing french about L.A. not even the stupid "french" school his kids were attending!
