Think folk need to realise it only takes a few years before a style of play that dominated becomes passive and more controllable for all, expectations and how to deal with that style soon gets toppled, and to be honest, the individual quality of football has took a dip, so many supposed next greats seem to have bigger dips in form than previous greats….

The argument is in every sport people want to see the best competing at there best you look at tennis Nadal Federer Murray all called time due to injuries & volume of tournaments they played to maintain ranking.
