How can Grealish make it but Maddison doesn’t. How can Maguire make it but Trent doesn’t. Southgate has shown his ineptitude before the competitions even started.

Maddison was superb against Forrest. I've only seen highlights of him in the past, but watching a full game of him I thought he was excellent. I think he should definitely be in the England squad.

8 games so far this season, and this was Leicester's first win. Maddison performing vs a team who Leicester are now joint bottom with and who have conceded 21 goals. You can't go from one extreme to another. Naturally if you are going to take the plaudits for one performance, you also have to be graceful in criticism. Maddison is part of a team that is deservedly in the relegation zone. One game doesn't make him Ronaldinho overnight. Calm down.
I actually think if he ends up getting let go at Leicester or leaving Brendan would be a great option as future England manager!
Gareth deserves kudos for getting us to a semi and a final but I personally would love to see a manager who would allow the players to play in a more positive manner and express themselves more!
