    Reports have emerged today in various media outlets that Steve Bruce may not actually be under immediate threat for the sack. It has been reported that certainly in the short to medium future he is not at any risk of losing his job at the Premier League side.

    Callum Wilson may now be out for up to another 6 weeks! All the Newcastle United fans saw this coming, especially when we made no signing in the transfer window to cover the position.

      For the sake of trying to stop myself from feeling low every week about Newcastle United I've just accepted things now simply. I accept we are in a relegation scrap with a strong possibility of going down. I accept we have Bruce and he is here to stay. I accept we have Mike Ashley who will invest minimal club money and none of his own. This is what we are now. Leeds Watford are two big games and are measure of what we will do this season.

      It's all about money Paul. Ashley won't sack Bruce to avoid the compensation pay out. Exactly the same with the players. Easier to get new contracts signed than sign new players. The only good thing about Newcastle Utd at present is your channel.

      I agree Paul with what you said about the match at least we showed we can play decent football.
      As for Bruce I’m going to be in the minority here, I believe if we get beat off Leeds and Watford and the international break comes up Steve Bruce will be sacked, I’ve heard he has 3 games to get results I’m not sure if this includes the Man U game or not but it would make sense if it did include the Man U game, as for his subs he is a clown 🤡 can anybody but Bruce see what his plan is? Even if he explained in his interview what he was trying to do but instead he has a go at Lee Ryder and the fans the man has no idea and like you said if he had any pride he would just say enough is enough.

      As for Wilson yes we all knew what his injury record was like but Bruce said we have 6 strikers and we all know we have Gayle and he refuses to play him so how can any club employ a manager who thinks wingers are centre forwards? The man is a idiot and like you I want a reporter to ask him this question who in the club is a centre forward apart from Gayle and get him to name the centre forwards he thinks we have and of course he won’t because they simply don’t exist.

      Agree with you have to say also the coaching staff and senior players should be demanding a change formation but also they should recognise that our key players ASM Wilson and MD are all injury prone

      I am sorry to say this but if they did not get rid of him last season, I do not see how they will do it now. In my humble opinion, Ashley will have to go before you see the back of the cabbage.

      This club hits another low every time I hear about them ,if it was a personal business it would have folded years ago ,most years I expect us to crawl over the line to safety but this season has the feeling that we've excelled ourselves and guaranteed a relegation spot

      Steve Bruce has a net worth of £30 million so can't possibly know how it feels to be scraping cash together to have their one bright spot in a week ruined by parasitic ownership and 1970's level tactics and management. Taking a sunshine vacation during a crisis is insulting.

      I don't trust Ashley, Charnley and Bruce as far as I could throw them. We have to hope that those going to the match make their voices heard for the whole 90. In terms of who would replace Bruce if he was to leave we have to put our trust in Lee Charnley to make the right move and this is a fella who thought Steve Mcclaren would be a better move than Thomas Tuchel the current Chelsea manager. #SteveBruceOut

      IMO Ashley won't get rid of Bruce due to pay off of his contract,
      plus paying further millions for another manager…
      when he wants to sell up.
