      Can we please SPEND BIG and aim for top eight. Glory days coming after decades in the wilderness. Last time i was proud of the Toon was 95 to 1997 and the Sir Bobby years. Howay!!!

      I almost feel bad even asking for more, this window has been so much better than what we're used to and I already appreciate what the new owners are doing. But if we can get Paqueta and a decent striker, I think we'll be set for a very exciting season.

      There's no chance of paqueta joining us…he one of the best players in the whole of Europe in his position….wud love him to join us….but he'll be on his way to a club that's expected to do very well in the major euro club trophies…..but we can dream…..and money talks also…..

      We dont want a back up to Calum Wilson we want someone better. Then Wilson becomes the back up so his injuries may not come into it. We do have Ameron and Wood who must start finding some sort of form this decade.

      Imagine our midfield, Joelinton, Bruno Paquetta…..unbelievable Brazilian midfield……only downside might b impact of the World Cup??

      We should never have signed Chris Wood, he's not good enough for the prem nevermind where we're trying to go
      Pequetta and maddison should both be priority now, both would be great signings, just what we need going forward

      It's amazing the amount of people clambering for us to go for Paqueta, claiming he's an amazing player, but have never seen him play one minute of football. If he does come in I hope he does well, but bloody hell lads…..

      Boro fan here Adam, Newcastle are certainly going to make a lot of noise this season. In the 90s when Boro were signing all these type players, I’ll have to admit it’s a good feeling. Bit jealous now but at least it’s another team other than Man City and Liverpool who I believe will be pushing for the league in a few years
