Just played a game of my own in northern Chicago, I can attest to it. We had 2 water breaks throughout each half and I was still dying. Blistering heat

Tbh, i dont see it as negative, weak or soft as others decribe it.

A player has to be in good Form when he is coming on the pitch and on that “bench” you just cant guarantee anything for the Players condition…

  3. At 30C, doing this is embarrassing. You can think of a hundred excuses, but this is ridiculous. Whatever humidity or weather conditions

The heat dome came at a rough time. Should abate by the next game at least

Edit: Nevermind will be just as brutal.

Bunch of dudes in the other thread who were proud of their apparently willingness to stand around in the blazing sun for 2 hours.

  6. Live in the states in an area where every day in the summer it’s 95f (35c) and with the humidity it’s usually a real feel of 102f (38-39c) and I’m in good shape I’m used to it and it still drains the life out of me if I’m out there for more than a hour without a break. Can’t imagine playing a whole damn game in the heat with little to no shade

  7. I was at the game in the shade and it was still miserably hot. Sitting in the direct sun looked brutal.

Y’all, I’m living in America, I just played a pickup game in that same weather. Those players have teammates playing a professional game in that same weather. What message does it send to your teammates on the field if you can’t even be on the bench to watch?

87 Fahrenheit, nice beach weather, pretty hot, far from “I can’t go outside” weather
