Borna Barisic: Claim that Celtic are Scotland’s best team is 'biggest joke' of the year

RANGERS defender Borna Barisic reckons John Kennedy’s claim that Celtic are still the best team in the country is “the biggest I’ve heard this year”.

Caretaker Hoops boss Kennedy believes his squad on their day is still better than Rangers’ – despite his team trailing the champions by 20 points.

The defender said: “They didn’t win against us in three games and we are 20 points in front of them so it’s a little bit disrespectful to us.

“You always need to be realistic. If someone is 20 points ahead of you, you just don’t talk like that.

“It is disrespectful for all the things we do this season. It is not only from him.
