Would be a creative upgrade for sure… but I wouldn't want this one to drag on all summer (per the Gnonto saga), at the expense of addressing our utmost priority – a fast right-winger, and a striker. In addition, if we are heavily linked with Grealish – and he ends up going elsewhere, this will be detrimental optics-wise (having just been spurned by Delap). I'm more anxious we get Barry over the line, and a winger like Dorgeles or Guessand. With N'Diaye and Alcatraz already here, Grealish just feels like a luxury at this juncture – whilst we have more pressing positions to fulfil.

  2. He will not only be an upgrade to our midfield, but with him, other better players will come. Good players want to play with other good players. If he plays the way he was in Villa, in the middle of the park, we should be all over this move. Pep mis played him as a winger which he is not.
