      I'm Portuguese and i don't understand the hate he got ? he is not even Portuguese and wears our colours, sings our national song and more how can i hate someone that give is 100% for my country regardless of his nationality, he deserves his position, he is a very good manager and to speak about things that was all over the news about him is very very disrespectful … muinto obrigado Roberto Martinez and most of all obrigado portugal for bringing our 3rd national trophy !       i like and appreciate the way this guy speaks to press and his calm vibe. Yet, if he would simplify the processes, we (Portugal) would be more sucessfull and effective. 2 games in a row inventing with Joao Neves at (false) right defender against teams like Spain and even Germany was Kamizaze. No need to complicate.. he has so much depth and quality in the squad. Also High pressing with Ronaldo its difficult!

      We won but Martinez doesn’t know our players at all and terrible moves he makes
      Joao neves doesn’t play defense
      Neto is not a starter
      Bernard Silva can’t run anymore
      Conceicao is not a starter
      Inacio is terrible
      Ruben neves is terrible
      Martinez has so much better players in the bench but he doesn’t have the skill to see that
      Very simple line up
      Costa
      Semedo Diaz Renato Mendes
      Joao neves Vitinha moura
      Leao fernandes Ronaldo
      Martinez is worst then santos
      We have way better bench players then starters
      How can u not see Bernard Silva can’t run anymore or Joao neves is not a defender
      ABC of coaching and Martinez is blind
      Big deal we won in pk but we could had played way better if this coach knows our players at all
      Mourinho should be our coach not Martinez
      Please don’t tell me Martinez is a good coach when he does many many mistakes

      It's usually easy for a coach to listen to the noise and make changes based on that
      But this guy is a solid coach
      I'm glad that he didn't decide ti sub cr7 based on fifa and espn pundits
      The goat still has alot more to offer
      And for noticing that to me ur currently the best coach

      The terrorist Fernando Santos destroyed the Portugal team for 10 years. Imagine winning the Euro and Nations League with that terrorist, all the players, and especially Ronaldo, deserve statues for winning with the worst coach in football history.

      Don't be fooled. As a portuguese, I can assure you it's hard to not win games with this stacked team. Martinez isn't some great coach. In fact, his picks both for the semi and final were shocking.
