I remember thinking when he was signed that he is nowhere near good enough for a £100 million. He had a few decent games and everyone thought he was the next best thing. Due diligence was not done and his true level was revealed. I think his ego got the better of him as well. I'm sure he'll find a mid-table club so he can play with other players at his level. He's just not good enough for a top side.
English media protecting Grealish so much is nauseating. If it were Rashford, Sterling or any player from another country they'd be on his case nonstop

This is the issue with big money clubs signing players at high wages. The risk if a player doesn’t reach or maintain their best, it becomes difficult to move them on. Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea, to name a few. They creating bench millionaires.
