It’s embarrassing that our board has no idea on what sort of winger they want and are looking for inconsistent options like Leão for abhorrent fees, and then the likes of Williams and Mitoma, when Cherki was available the whole time before City swooped him for cheap. The only interested club for Cherki at the time was Dortmund iirc.

Leao is not worth half that for our system, he needs space, he can’t do jack sh** against low block like we play 90% of the game.
A technical winger like Olise is a must for the way we play, nico seems to be leaps forward in that regard, even mitoma is better than leao in that regard.
Alternatively an attacking midfielder who could play winger inverted and technical like simons or olmo (if he weren’t made of glass) that way davies could run them to the ground on overlap.
