      Well said Maddison in all honesty. Spot on, have a pop back and shut the talking heads up. They’d do the same if the shoe was on the other foot.

      It shouldn’t even be a question. Huge part of the team and if ange can wise up and play better tactics in the league we can perhaps win another cup and not finish anywhere near 17th which was not down to injuries but his poor defensive strategies

      Maddison put his body on the line with that goalkeeper collision in the semis to get to the finals. That cup is as much as Maddisons as anyone else. In fact hebdid more in the games leading up to the final, than many didnin the actual final

      Trouble is with Maddison is hes too arrogant to actually understand the criticism he gets.

      Keane was pointing out that you cant rely on players like maddison when the going gets tough, and of course he was correct.

      Maddison is the type of player who starts a game well, scores a goal or gets an assist and then thinks his job is done for the day, and then strolls around.

      Hes the type of player who goes missing during the winter months when the weather gets abit too cold.

      He also has a fuzzy memory, even when hes been fit this season i remember Postecoglu naming as a sub on at least 15 occasions. The player who was virtually ever present for most of the time was Kulusevski, as he was the one pulling the strings. And has been Spurs player of the season by some distance.

      Great response from Maddison, he is one of the few modern footballers who show a bit of personality and because of that he’s an easy target. A great player also, hasn’t had the best of seasons but I’m sure he’ll bounce back 💪🏼

      Don't even respond. Feed these talking heads, NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. If I was a Pro and knew how good I was, I wouldn't talk to media at all. I wouldn't even do the after match interview. I wouldn't be on social media either.

      Madders is a clever cookie… will make a great pundit when he hangs up his boots.
      We also know from seeing Madders travel for the Europe games that he takes his pillow … very seriously.

      James Maddison should have said, “yeah we did win a trophy which is a feat but the position on the table is crazy and my personal performance could have been better, because really the trophy gets us into the champions league. Criticism is good but life is hard”.
