The only problem that Nunez has, is that he arrived to PL when Haaland arrived and the rivalry between City and Liverpool

He is 23, not 18. More than "once settled" I would say "IF settled", and that's a big IF in my opinion.
As a LFC fan, I love Nuñez. He always keeps going and always gives 100% for the team and his goal/assist contributions are there. The only problem is his price tag (not his fault) and the fact that he was unfairly being compared to an already world-class striker in Haaland because they went to the top two teams and in the same window. I have no regrets so far about signing him and he'll come good.
Exactly how he said there the difference is the language barrier an that red card straight away plus coming to us at a time when Haaland went to city an there are rivals of the last 4/5 years but he’s gonna be a major player for us.. he’s doing loads right an gettin in the places he needs ti be his effort is not in question he’s pacy. Nunez will come up good and when he does he will be chaos for other teams .Not every player can fit right away ,also had a bad start where he was suspended .
Nunez has speed and pace but his first touch, control and technique arent good enough for world class striker. Liverpool got very good player in gakpo for cheap price but for nunez liverpool just lose money there.
It is as you said, as Fans, we see his hardwork and passion.. that's what normal fans can relate to as we don't have super skills ourselves.
But to be honest his end product can be really frustrating… Hope he can settle in and become the striker we need.
As a true red, the only people criticizing Nunez are the media, and rival fans who just want to have a go at anything they can find. We’re not worried. He will get 15-20 goals this season.

He’ll be a great player, great physical attributes. I see him developing into a Drogba-esque role as his career progresses.
I don't think its completely about "trying hard" because anybody that LFC choose to sign can try hard (see Andy Carroll, Danny Ings, Iago Aspas) its that he cares and keeps getting in the right positions. He could've had 5-6 goals yesterday, he kept making the run and kept putting himself in the position to miss those chance where he could've hung his head after the 1st few. That's why LFC fans shouldn't be down on him (he's also 22).
