    Apology tour let’s go bud.

Get your wife, have her stand behind you at the podium.

Hahahaha I was thinking of this comment of mine today but was too lazy to search it.

I just knew it! It’s the ever repeating Dortmund cycle.

Still congrats to you guys though, Champions League without Dortmund isn’t the same and Dortmund represent the league quite well.

I hope we both make it far!

  3. Hey that’s me.

And it’s not like I wasn’t correct at the time. And we even lost the first 2 games with Kovac and it REALLY didn’t look pretty.

It took us going undefeated in last 8, basically the entire league melting down for us to crawl into 4th with our dying breath.

I stand by my comments that I made at the time and just because the history went the way it did (thank fuck for that) I won’t have to apologise for anything.

„Erste Runde Krankenschein, dann die Oma tot, Überstunden nehmen wir zur Not. Danach die Kündigung scheißegal, Borussia Dortmund international!“

Yeah as someone from the region and a fan for more than 30years now, fuck this dude.
Not deserved, but thank you Niko.

  7. For real, this is only my fourth season following this club* and it’s the third time I’ve seen them do this.

*I’m an American who originally started watching for Gio, stuck around for Erling and Jude, and then kept coming back for the culture.

  8. I told this a colleague of mine when we discussed this. „Be a little positive – it’s the same story every year. Either new players, new coach, 2 core players leaving – it’s always the build up season for next season when we can REALLY attack. Just be fine with UCL qualification and try having a good time watching the games.“

  9. The people here are “Schönwetter-Fans”. I’ve been a BVB fan for over 30 years. I’ve been there through all the good and bad times, from the Champions League in 1996, the Bundesliga with Sammer, then almost seeing us get relegated, and the double.
The most important thing was that the players fought, not that they won. Losing was accetable as long as you left everything on the field. Nowadays fans lost sight of what the DNA of the team is or was. And as soon as they stop winning, they turn their backs on the team.
