      Why do they say/write Islamic Republic of Iran, instead of just "Iran"? They don't say "Russian Federation" or "Federal Republic of Germany". It stood out like a sore thumb during the live drawing.

      Iran are in the group of death, with Portugal and Spain lol.. But I'm not going to count them out yet, especially as they have a solid defence, still remain unbeaten since March this year, and have a manager who is Portuguese. Carlos has managed Portugal and also Real Madrid.

      In the past yes we would be defeated easily but new Iran team is totally different, I'm counting on my country to go up with Spain.

      Here is how my Fish has predicted the Outcome of this group, ( I hope people find this entertaining.) : Iran draws with Morocco, Spain & Portugal Draw, Iran beats Spain, Morocco & Portugal Draw, Spain beat Morocco, Iran & Portugal Draw.
      What technique did I use? Well….similar to what they used on Paul the Octopus for the UEFA Euro 2008 & World Cup 2010.

      I was proud of Iranian team when fought back Argentina but still lost 1-0. Messi made a goal which even Germany's goalkeeper couldn't control it.

      Iran lost to Germany 2-0 when Ali Karimi, Azizi, Nekounam and Mahdavi Kia were playing. I was proud of our team as they played with a world-class team at the same level.

      That was a team to be proud of not the current one. This current team is a total waste as their football skill is not World Cup level at all.

      I don't know why we are celebrating the others mistake rather than our own hard work which we didn't have in that game.
