  1. I'm a VTID but my wife is a Chelsea fan (don't ask) so I've known we will miss out to Chelsea on goal difference for weeks! That's how my life rolls. So blame me. Also Chelsea will probably draw with Forest but Villa also draw!

  2. Yes Martinez and Baileys reaction at the full time whistle suggests they are both going in the summer. I’m
Sorry you can’t sell the world’s number 1. We will have a Man Utd issue with keepers after Martinez. We are after Joan Garcia from Espanyol, but for me we need a world class replacement but they are very few.

  3. I think the players ahead of him to leave should be Watkins, Digne, Bailey. Apparently some top European teams are after him as well.

  4. For us to cement a top 4 position every season we need to be keep our top players. Martinez hasn’t been top notch this season but he has mad so many top saves this season that has saved us. Our defence has been a mess this season with injuries and different combos which doesn’t help stability.

  5. I'm not buying this PSR shit,we spent fuck all in the summer & made a £50 million profit in January, our sponsorship deals/kit deal are worth 3-4× the previous ones, our champions league revenue is worth £80-£100 million & our total revenue is expected to reach around £400 million this year,up from £310+ million last year which was the 18th highest worldwide of any club. If we sell it's to strengthen the overall squad. Fuck PSR!! What a fuck'in farce….UTFV!!!

  6. You can't put Bailey's poor form down to Diaby leaving, they hardly played together at the same time if you remember rightly, 1 good season in 4 isn't good enough, getting too attached to players is a mistake & whoever goes we must trust our people to do what's best. It was the same last year with Dougie/Diaby being sold, but we've got stronger for it,no panic!!

  7. Morning chaps, can’t quite stomach the thought of us selling Emi! With all the rumours I’ve honestly thought we wouldn’t sell both goalies in the same season 🤯🤯🤯

  8. Im confused was you with watching the same game as me. The atmosphere wasn't great but certainly wasn't dead. It was the chants that went wild in Holte End that went mad just before the 1st goal. Also, pau made some excellent passed and long balls.
Also, how have we played not good our last 3 games. 3 clean sheets 3 wins 9 points. We played brilliantly against Bournemouth and battered spurs. 😂😂 you boys are funny. If you've watched Villa play any games this season you will know exactly how we play. Lots of possession break teams down = Emery ball that's how we play football. So i don't why people complain about it. It's what we do!

  9. Any player is only good as his last game and emi has made some howlers this season .. the goal psg scored against us in the first leg was a disgrace ., every dog has their day .. yes he has been the bollox ,, but this season .. not the greatest

  10. Great show lads! Sum up the emotions around Emi potentially leaving really well.

Will be devastated jf that happens, I actually still make him our most important player despite patchy form by his standards this year.

Any replacement needs to replicate his calmness in possession as in my opinion lots of other keepers would concede goals from the tight situations he often has to pass his way out of. Also the best keeper I have ever seen at coming and claiming things in the air!

Plus I love the fact that opposition fans detest him as we have been too nice over the years!

I can only think the powers that he don’t see a better alternative in terms of squad building but it’s a gigantic risk!

How privileged we are in a season of the prem big heads, PSG, Bayern and Juventus that we have only lost twice and one was a game we chucked in the cup with the bench!

    UTV

  11. I think that Martinez knows that it is a possibility, not confirmed but he knows that could have been his last game at Villa Park. I’m sure that dawned on him in the last minutes. I hope we get another season with him with his replacement as a no. 2, hopefully Garcia from Espanyol

  12. Controlled performance I thought, surely this is how elite teams perform just do what’s needed? Will you react the same way if we beat United playing the same way?
